ALL of my students love a sculpture. Whether its made of modeling clay, paper mache, or found objects, its always their favorite thing to do! So I decided to bring a little more sculpture into Art Camp this year with this awesome (easy and super fun) project! Everyone created an abstract shape out of wire (already connected to the wooden base), and then we covered it with women's tights - they all thought this was hilarious!

We added one layer of white paint asa primer. Since we used tights, the paint really liked to sink in through the holes. So, we did a pretty thick first layer of white before we started adding more color!

We spent two days working on these since we waited for our first layer of white to dry. These finished products are stunning!
